Get involved and take action with the Voter Education Campaign!

	Why the AAUW Voter Education Campaign Is Important After the 1994 elections, women quickly realized that critical issues - educational equity, health care, civil rights, workplace equity, reproductive choice, and welfare reform - were seriously threatened by the congressional majority leadership. Decades of progress were at stake. In response, AAUW launched its Voter Education Campaign.

Today the congressional leadership still jeopardizes women’s rights at almost every turn. That’s why AAUW continues its Voter Education Campaign.

How the Campaign Works On a national level, AAUW is involved with educating women voters on the issues important to women and families. Locally, the Philadelphia Branch, Inc. holds programs to track crucial local and national issues and organizes get out the vote activities.
